Let’s face it. Even with the recent election of Donald Trump, Many feel America is still on the decline in many areas of our society.
Our civil rights, our religions, our customs and freedoms are under assault as we progress through the transition from growing socialism to our true American freedoms as conceived by our founders.
Part 1 – Our Schools:
More and more we see the influence of “acceptance” and “tolerance” being pushed on our youngest of students. We know God was taken out of schools years ago when prayer was banned and at times even the pledge of allegiance is being replaced by a pledge to alla-egiance.
Thought it’s been 40+ years since I was in high school and college, we focused on American history, American laws, the constitution, learning to read, studied math, English, the sciences and arts. Now we’ve become a training ground for “social acceptance living” including liberalism, activision, protesting, efficient property damage, organizing, and multi-culturalism churning out next week’s arrestees from the local protest march against American rights and values.
Now, As part of their social studies curriculum, Grade 7 pupils throughout California study ancient Muslim cultures and the impact of Islam on world history. Hummmm, I myself am trying to remember the Islamic influence on medicine and life saving surgical techniques, space traveling astronauts, writers of symphonic classics, or world explorers. Kids who have little to no knowledge of American history (after all it is unimportant), can’t spell or use proper English, and only follow their leaders as lemmings to the slaughter….. A societal butchery we’ll all be part of.
One item from the 6-point list on how that standard is to be reached is especially troubling: “Trace the origins of Islam and the life and teachings of Muhammad, including Islamic teachings on the connection with Judaism and Christianity.”
(You can view for yourself California’s Grade Seven History-Social Science Content Standards.)
Many parents would be up in arms if schoolkids were learning about the life and teachings of Jesus in public school classrooms, even if the information were presented only as background for a unit on the impact of Christianity on world history. Even though a Christian myself, I’m all for the separation of religion from education as it potentially allows for introduction of ideas that should be left to individual choice – not forced educational indoctrination and possible false teachings.
The “Access Islam” curriculum includes 10 lesson plans, including the “Five Pillars of Islam;” “Salat: Prayer in Muslim Life;” “Ramadan Observance;” “Quran: Sacred Scripture of Islam;” “The Haji: Journey to Mecca;” “Islam in America;” and “Women in Islam.”
Brigitte Gabriel Reads the Muslim Brotherhood Plan for America:
NEW JERSEY SCHOOL FORCES STUDENTS TO WATCH PRO-ISLAMIC VIDEO, MOTHERS FIGHT BACK:
Although the school has denied lessons on any other major religion, the Islamic curriculum included forcing seventh-graders to declare, “May [Allah] help us all find the true faith — Islam” and forced them to view a video about the 5 pillars of Islam that portrayed non-Muslims as unintelligent. PERSONAL OPINION…. THIS HAS NO PLACE IN OUR SCHOOLS.
Parents are starting to see the light and realize that the future of our country depends on educated, well prepared and independent thinking kids and not ones fluent in Islamic cultural ideals and dangerous anti-American falsehoods.
The growth of multi-cultural studies grew over the last 8 years as our government leaders, indoctrinated with Islamic leaning, socialist ideologies, allowed or promoted a more open society based on social justice and middle east and European values, not realistic and truthful American foundations as laid out centuries ago.
While there are those of the Islamic faith who have adapted to our way of life, accepted our laws and values, and choose to live here under our societal lifestyle, there are many who choose to do us harm. And have for centuries.
I’m not even sure I knew the term Muslim when I was in school as life was simple, easy going, and our lives were wrapped up in American life. Surely, we’ve been reminded lately of the past they have played in slavery and our own American history.
How many know that perhaps 1.5 million Europeans and Americans were enslaved in Islamic North Africa between 1530 and 1780? We dimly recall that Miguel de Cervantes was briefly in the galleys. But what of the people of the town of Baltimore in Ireland, all carried off by “Tripolitan Corsair” raiders in a single night? Just a precursor to the violence that was to follow over the centuries.
Deprived of Royal Navy protection, American shipping became even more subject than before to the depredations of those who controlled the Strait of Gibraltar. The infant United States had therefore to decide not just upon a question of national honor but upon whether it would stand or fall by free navigation of the Muslim controlled seas.
And hence, the involvement of Thomas Jefferson, and our national reaction to the so-called Barbary Wars – A Muslim conflict not derived from or rooted in our recent 9/11/01 NYC attack, or the first ’93 WTC attack or even the 1983 US Embassy and Beirut barracks bombings, but the 1801 wars on foreign shores required to protect our fledgling country from the centuries old “ravages of savages.”
To promote in our schools the dangerous, opposing illogical teachings of “peace, love and acceptance” of a religion whose very tenet is in fact not based in our Christian way of life or constitutional method of governance, is setting up generations of future citizens as a threat to what we all hold dear in our lives.
Is this the future education you desire for your children, your neighbors and fellow citizens? or maybe we should get back to teaching them the true tools of learning and making a living to better our society with valuable and valued skills?
Not my child!
Be aware. Observe and be involved in local school boards and meetings. Know what’s going on and write your congress reps about things which pose a threat to our American way of life. Whether a Christian, a Jew, Hindu, Sikh or any more peaceful religion, we can’t allow subversion of our children and ultimately our country.
